The Lumera Light Source is designed for use at the
doctor's office. UV-B light is delivered with the Lumera
Brush and the Lumera Beam attachments. Advanced optical
technology filters the energy generated by a proprietary
UVB enhanced lamp and emits light, optimized in the UVB
band (290 to 320 nanometers). A light guide is used to
transmit the light to the Lumera Brush and Lumera Beam.
A Timer and an Output Level Knob control the energy dose
delivered. The UVB Light Source has a START/STOP Switch
for activation of the light beam. Activation can also be
controlled remotely with a Foot Switch.
