The Lumera Light Source emits the therapeutic UVB
light that powers the Lumera Brush and the Lumera Beam.
Advanced optical technology filters the energy generated by a
proprietary UVB
enhanced lamp and emits light in the therapeutic
UVB band (290 to 320 nanometers). A light guide is used
to transmit the light to the Luemra Brush and Lumera
Beam. A Timer and an Output
Level Knob control the energy dose delivered. The UVB
Light Source has a START/STOP Switch for activation of
the light beam. Activation can also be controlled
remotely with a Foot Switch.
The Lumera Light Guide is a flexible light conduit
that offers easy and flexible handling of the delivery
handpieces.
